To strengthen its entrepreneurship profile, B.D.C (Business Development Consultants) created a corporate venture department since March 2010.

The corporate venture department has 3 main goals:

- Promoting connections between investors and entrepreneurs willing to raise funds. The sectors of high-tech, green-tech and e-business will be prioritized.

- Advising start-up leaders in their development plans by taking into account the key aspect of funding and company’s value.

- Investing in small capital projects which require more contribution in consulting than in cash. Such investments can come in addition to an investment fund or a business angel and aims at supporting the leader in the definition and the development of a powerful business model.

Jérôme Gayet, founder and head of B.D.C explains the origin of this development:

“B.D.C carries a strong entrepreneurial component: we have naturally been solicited by entrepreneurs willing to benefit from  »down to earth » advices and support in their global funding issues. Moreover, it is for us a way to assert our entrepreneurial view of consulting. End of February 2010 a first investment has been made in the French firm Global Marketing Services which is a partner of the German company win24. An additional investment in under discussion. »
